I have just started playing with sat, got a clone dm500 and set it up to run pli jade. Last night everything was working fine this morning I cant get a picture on any channel :sad:. I noticed the snr sitting at 93% last night and this morning it's dropped away to 62% so I'm guessing there may be something wrong with my dish. At the moment I'm using an old sky dish could it be the LNB or a connector issue? If the strength was >90% last night ii couldn't be the dish align could it?

Sorted popped home for lunch and had a quick look. It was the connector at the back of the box, simple.

Spoke too soon its gone again. bugger.

I have seen a similar issue on a friends standard sly minisdish, which was in palce when he bought the house...running a DM500s, works fine then sometime SNR drops to 60ish % and no channels...not even FTA.

Gave the LNB a slight adjustment by hitting it with a broomstick,,,been fine for over a week now...I suspect the LNB is on it's way out though...
