Torture has been proved to be useless, people will just say things for it to stop. A truth serum would be a better alternative, although again the results of such nefarious means are also questionable.

There are many like minded people at these camps, but they've only seen things from their side, and the propaganda being spread. We cannot and shouldn't judge those in the camps in that manner. They're just fighting for what they believe to be right, much the same we are, again the problem here is religion. Always has been, and always will be, the sooner we wake up and accept that there is no omnipotent being that created everything, or wrote these texts, and we're the masters of our destiny the better. As that'll never happen the world will continue to spiral down until a dystopian future is met by those unlucky enough to survive.
