Sending dbox signal through HDMI dvd to TV

Hi all,

Is there a way to send the Dbox-2 signal through a scart lead to a DVD Player that has scart and HDMI.
Then hook the HDMI connection from the DVD Player to a HDMI connection on the TV.
This uplifting the dbox-2 signal to progressive scan mode "HDMI" through the dvd player coming out on to the TV.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

can't see a reason why it shouldn't work.....not too sure how effective upscaling is i've heard different reports but any improvement has got to be a bonus....
