selling on ebay ?

HI,

I got an ibm thinkpad 570e with docking station for sale, i was considering selling it on ebay, has anyone sold anything of this nature on there before and is it safe to do so ? how would it work ? they send money and money clears i send goods ? i thought of ebay as i could set a minimum then hope for the best.

You shouldn't have any problems with ebay mate....

If you have a paypal account the winning bidder can pay you through that...then you have instant payment and can withdraw it to your bank account. Alternatively, they can send you a cheque or postal order...you put the cheque in the bank and wait for it to clear before sending the item. You could just put a line in the description saying this...then the buyer knows the reason why you're not sending it immediately.

And you have the luxury of setting a starting bid or reserve to that it doesn't sell for £2.
