seat leon ABS

I have a seat leon 1.6s year 2004. the problem is the abs light comes on when am driving then goes off again when i brake then back on again. can anyone tell me what the problem can be (i have checked the wheel sensors and they seem fine)

really need to read codes to be 100% but it could be a faulty brakelight switch most ABS systems use a dual circuit brake light switch so the lights can still work but switch can be faulty. But could be control unit, modulator valve etc.
