see when you enter something into your search engine it gives you a list of the searches beginning with that letter is there a way to removethe list of previous searches

plenty of programs you can download will do this History remover, evidence eliminator is another . have a look in the downloads/misc section Im sure I seen one there

If you're using IE7:

Tools > Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete > Uncheck AutoComplete for Forms.

If you're using Firefox:

Tools > Options > Privacy > History > Uncheck Remember what I've entered in forms and the search bar.
