Scratching my head with Dbox prob....

Hi to all,

Does the Dbox need updated keys for it to descramble the subscribed channels???? I get the beeb channels and Itv but all the others are blank although I get the time and listings of whats on now and next on the epg.

It's a Sagem Box with the sporster image dated 28/08/05.
I have Got the Sevice.xml and bouquet for my area loaded.
Signal quality is Ok.

Do you use a UK sportster from the dbox2 downloads.?

Best thing to do is to flash the latest Sportster image from the downloads section on this site to the box, and then perform your own mannual channel scan. The scan takes an hour but it guaranteed to find the correct channel listings for your area.

For example, I know people in birmingham where they use 'birmingham' service files and they still dont get encrypted channels.
