Does anyone know what the scrappies do with soldered copper?
I've just changed over my heating system from storage to combi. I scrapped the copper cylinder and they took off 1kg for the weight of the foam insulation but I'm left with at least the same weight in copper pipe. Problem being is that much of it is soldered joints/angles. Do they take the soldered joints? If so do they reduce the price by a percentage or is it best to remove the soldered point? If I remove these points and scrap the good copper will they take the soldered joints minus a percentage?
