I big your hardon, my sons stay in Milngavie and a few of my old 'biker' pals. Stra'ven's just up the road from me now and some folks there DO have a problem with Milngavie (invaders from the other side of the border most of 'em). When I had to work for a living, I travelled the length and breadth of our country (kids call me 'sat' dad, I must know every speeding camera in Britain by now) most of the population in Inverness and surrounding area have Southern accents now, and most have them have little hotels and B&B's, you should hear some of the pronunciations of Scottish place names extremely comical if it weren't sad. By the way, never ask any of the Scots there how to get to Auchterarder! they call it 'Foagy Loan'???
