Scanning cable image for Dm800 !

Hi i have a cable image downloaded from the cable section here that works to a degree, i have umpteen empty channels and every time i scan the end result is no channels found.
Can any one put me right please, i'm in the Liverpool vermin area unce:

do you have a cable tuner in the dm800 and not a sat one

Yes m8 Philips cable tuner.
I have 2 dm800s one 4 sat one 4 cable roud:

Just rescanned and still no joy, just to recap i do get all the encrypted channels , its just that some are missing and there are at least 40 channels that are empty.
