If you don't pay they'll pass the debt on to a collection agency, Robinson Way maybe. Then, you'll start to get letters from them saying you owe them money and they'll phone you lot's of times every day. If you ignore them, from experience and from readin Paypalsucks.com, they'll eventually stop hassling you. There is also a procedure you can follow to basically say the moeny you owe is in dispute and they are to stop bothering you as they are breaking the law. Google Paypalsucks and do some reading. Similar thing happened to me with a 360. Doing this however, you'll lose your ebay and PP account.

I take it by this statement they did inform you before they refunded the buyer,
Not that its makes any difference m8 as they are a law onto themselfs.

I had recorded delivery proof of postage.

I've got a confirmed address and so did my buyer, the buyer said it was never delivered and Paypal gave him a £100 refund and expected me to pay it back to them.

I sent them faxes of my receipts, it made no difference.

Recorded Delivery is not proof either it seems

When Paypal want to be friends, we make them our best friends, fast and secure payments, no hassle.

But then a small dispute and they be your worst enemy, asking for this and that when proof is right in front of there eyes.

And now paypal and ebay are same company, things like this will be just the same!

So you are trying to rip either the seller, or paypal off?

Nice.

If you think you will get away with it you are a nutter.

Surely thats a mistake mate? Recorded is exactly that. Recorded. It shows as being to delivered, and to what address. Surely this is all the proof you need? What else you going to do, deliver it yourself, and take a photo of you handing it over? Sounds like you got done over witchy mate.

Surely if you use paypal to pay by the direct debit method its pays the seller with an echeque - so the money is not in the sellers paypal account until the direct debit is cleared?? Im surprised the seller has got his money - just aswel you know them as the chances are whatever happens paypal wont be out of pocket - they will just debit the money straight from the seller anyway!!!

Paypal basically do whatever they want - so long as they dont get out of pocket they dont care!!

Its for the post office. If sender doesnt receive it then you can claim from the Post Office.

Been there, done that mate. :(

I can't afford a lawyer and i don't qualify for Legal Aid, otherwise I'd be in court fighting it.
