You need to copy your sevices.xml to your pc by way of ftp, then flash your image then ftp your services file back to your box.

is it an easy process mate i manged to get sportster previously insatlled but i did not have any service files on there before do i just save them to a file then transfer that file back across ps thxs for response mate

Yes dead easy, ftp into your box, go to tuxbox, config , zapit, then copy services.xml to your pc, falsh image, then ftp to same place and copy services back, then you will have the same channels you have now.
Haveing said that its easier to fash image and do a scan, that way you get all channels inc. any new ones, but its upto you.

Dont forget to enable dhcp or change the IP back to your preference when you have flashed the new image!
