Satellites beyond 28.2E

I was messing about with my dish and I notice that I don't get anything beyond 28.2E. I am not having any problems with my setup but I want to make sure that my dish is properly aligned so wondered if there is anything beyond 28.2E that I should be able to view but I am not getting in case the dish is misaligned.

yes you can, but nothing open on EMU only FTA, i can get hellasat, but i havent checked any further.........nothing of intrest to me to be honest

turksat is something like 42e and i can get that on my 80cm dish. think 36e has some good things but i can get any singal at all from there on my dish think i'd need a 1m dish

I am not too fussed if its EMU or FTA just want to make sure that I am getting it if is supposed to be available, sad I know but I think we just spend the time fidlling with our setup rather than actually watching the tv. Hellasat is supposed to be on 39E so will check to see if i can view anything on there as well Turksat on 42E.

AFAIK some football games are FTA on turksat.
Might have to wait 'till the start of the season to find out lol

There's loads out there on FTA mate, as well as EMU.
I've got a TD88 on a Diseqc in Berkshire and pull in over 10,000 services, on the following sats:
W: 58, 45, 43, 34.5, 30, 27.5, 22, 18, 15, 12.5, 8, 7, 5, 0.8
E: 4, 4.8, 7, 9, 10, 13, 16, 19.2, 21.6, 23.5, 26, 33, 36, 39, 40, 42, 45, 53, 57

Not tested the channels on the West but looking at your list I am definitely not getting anything past 28.2E. I am getting SNR of 92% or more on 1E, 13E 16E, 19E and 28.2E so I was assuming that I was properly aligned but it looks like I am missing the arc. I think digidude did a list of half a dozen satellites /channels to align against so will have to see if I can dig that post out.
