Samsung J5 Chinese

Bought my wife a Samsung J5 for xmas but it didn't have PlayStore installed (just lots of chinese junk).

I downloaded it off the net but when I click the icon it just flicks off.

Anyone think of a solution?

Just a side note, if your device is rooted, this will be 1000% easier. See the steps for a rooted device at the bottom.

1. Make sure you have the Play Store app installed.
   If you already have it installed, skip to step two.
2. Install Google Services.
   Next, install you have Google Services installed. You can download the apk from here: Google Play services APKs - APKMirror
3. Reconnect your Google account.
   This step isn't necessary and might not make a difference, but it wouldn't hurt to try. It should reestablish the connection.
4. If your device is rooted...
   Make sure you have a custom recovery and reflash Gapps

Sorry dude, I can only point you to this forum for that. I'd suggest some reading before actually flashing it.
