Phone Unlocking Samsung D500

Hi guys can someone help me on this one? i have just bought a d500 for my daughter and i need to put a full set of pink covers on it and unlock it, my question is would i be able to do it all myself or will i need to take it to a shop?

for the cover u need a simple small + screwdriver

and be care full with centre ribbon if u damage it u will lose functionality in top half or white screen

erm unlocking u could do it ur self using a serial cable and software or u could get it done at a shop but i advise not to pay more than 5 - 10 £

For unlocking you either need to do it the serial cable way, buy an unlocking clip or just pay a shop to do it, there aren't any codes avalible to do it freely unfortunatly

just found this in the samsung unlock part will this not work with out the clip?

To unlock any d500 samsung:
a) perform a total reset of the mobile

*2767*3855#

b) insert (without a sim inserted in the mobile) this codes

#7465625*638*00000000#

it will be completely unlocked and free to use any network

This worked on my d500 (o2) but not on my bros d500 (Orange)
Unlocked mine no prob, but bro had to pay tenner, hee! hee!
Will not do it any harm to try m8
