Found this on another site also.

To unlock any d500 samsung:
a) perform a total reset of the mobile

*2767*3855#

b) insert (without a sim inserted in the mobile) this codes

#7465625*638*00000000#

it will be completely unlocked and free to use any network

I tried this and after i put in the code it said something about being not personalised.
But i tried a few diffrent sims in and it worked perfect not even a mention of limited services.
Hope this helps a few of you.

Have you tried the simple way, it worked for my Orange D500:

Take out the Orange sim
Switch phone on

Switch off
Put New Sim in
Switch on

but be careful guys of using resetting codes, I once did it in the past and lost all of my contacts, text messages and reminders.

Sorted it now, just put in the code for uk wap and uk mms, turned it off and back on, now it's fine.

I suspect I know the answer to this but do any of the unlock codes remove network-specific operating systems? I've got a Orange D500 which is unlocked but still has the Orange startup anim/logo... (small thing, but annoying!)
