sammy problem please help

Forget it all ex-cw are now 3.2,you won't find 3 anywhere,just use the bytes in ocd to bk+ird.

so is that history now? as its been some time since i last did a sammy and it used to work every time

Try this.

I have edited the config 1 file for you.

Locate the "Jtag Config" folder and replace the current config1 file with my one.

This folder is usually found by going - C drive - programme files - BKEv2.2 - Jtag Config

Those bytes you typed above look wrong mate?
PURE NTL USES CR3.3 SO USE BYTES "0x00F6A8A8" FOR BKE2.2
EX C&W USES CR3.2 SO USE BYTES "0x00942D24" FOR BKE2.2
You edit the config file that you want to use, i.e. if you edited config 1 then make sure you are using config file 1 when you re-open BKE.

Done this m8 still no joy edited the config correctly i think?


went into edit Config1, [NT*]

BoxKEY=0x00F6A8A8


And reopened bk on config 1 (davic) still all 0's. im i doing it right, sorry for being a pain in the ass. Cheers for the help

No probs mate. I am not pure NTL so I am only going on the info from other threads.

Try my config1 file and if there is still no luck then we will have to beg some of the pure NTL experts for some more advice lol.....

Ok m8, tried it and its still saying all 0's for the BK, thanks anyway, can some please shed light onto this who has done it on NT*. Why cant we all be on the same network lol. Thanks anyway for all that.

no,use ocd and cut and paste the bytes in to command line.

How about trying OCD Commander and this advice:

"i had the same problem this is what i did & it works everytime:
solder the jtag to the box connect to the pc then power up the box wait till
ld 20 comes up then press ch- button & hold it till the display goes blank then
let go wait about 20 to 30 seconds till 0 appears on the display then open ocd & type:
byte 0xf6a8a8 ff then enter key and all should be well good luck m8."

No m8 and wouldnt even know where to start, im mainly in the modem part of the site, thats my home lol,

Im going to just play around with these bytes in SDT

0xf6a8a8 for bke and byte 0xf6a8a8 ff for ocd

I hear it works. Ill let yous know how i get on.
