sammy byte

used debug, bk v2.1. and beta debug and i still cant get my box key. can any1 please help me. how do i get box key. im in c&w ex. do i need to put the right bytes in ocd? bin doing this all day. if i crack it ill wake the neighnours up.

search 'byte' in the sammy section been a few listed in the past few weeks.

try these mate, and make sure that the power light on the sammy box is green and that there is a 0 on the led display

green light on

just read that the green light needs to be on also a 0 on display when jtagging the box key. is this true? bid going into ld40 with scart connected and red light on whilst jtagging for box key! what am i doing wrong!!

Check your connections (jtag) Ur ird should start with 3E, you might need to run the MOT driver!

hold channel down button for 30 secs then let go for 20, then hold it again another 30, that should display 0

the way it worked on my sammy was :

BOXKEY =0X00942D24

take out cable feed, plug power on the box, do not press any buttons, go make a cup of tea untill it boots fully.
connect Jtag and startup BKE with the already edited bytes in the config, selected sammy 2100 Ex-CWC and click connect, that should give you the BK and IRD for the box.

Just make sure which area you are in..."pure NT*", Ex-CWC or telepest.

Hmm strange one mate, short the bat' and then try again and remember to reset the net id etc
Obviously check all the connections
