Android Same emails in gmail and hotmail

Hi got a s8 plus..now I get the same emails in gmail and hotmail..I rarely use gmail..I prefer all my emails to be sent to my hotmail address...how do I stop gmail...somehow must have synched it to my Hotmail address..ta

Try using outlook instead of exchange.

Do you use the gmail APK? if so , open it up. tap the 3 bars top left, one of your email addresses will be there. scroll down to settings and click on it. from there you can manage each account on yr phone

Yes I've done that..but still getting emails...I suppose deleting the app won't work..as it's needed for Google play, sevices get..?

just go into settings/apps and find gmail apk and stop notifications for gmail apk. then it wont notify you that you have any emails from gmail. do you use a separate apk for hotmail?
