sagem dbox loading kernel

I have just tried to flash a new image onto my friends sagem dbox2. Everything seemed to be going fine, up to where it is doing the final flash, then it just stopped working. Eventually I switched off the machine and now when I reboot the box it just shows a message "loading kernel" Anyone got any ideas. I am new to all this

try IFA and reflash it if you can, should find all you need in downloads you also need null modem and xover cables

You can flash with IFA using crossover cable only, read the recent threads in the dbox section. Also make sure you get the correct image type for your box, Sagems can have either 1 or 2 flash chips, so make sure your image is 1x or 2x accordingly.
