SA4000 sooo slow with talkback cut??

Hi
after TB has been done on the SA4000 any1 else noticed it lags terribly when changing channels?

there are 2 mods, one grounding the resistor and the other isolating the 2 legs of the chip?

Does one not cause the lag???

Any help pls ?

dont know about the 4000 m8 but i removed the resistor on the 4200 and it seems ok
which mod u done ?

i would go with cutting the two legs from the chip as i have found grounding a wire to chassis from the resistor caused the lag you can only try mate

Did you lift the legs with a pin or unsolder them? as its very small working area and the heat shield dont help.
