why do we still get a full epg for s*y one ,news and sport etc if the channels are off air, are they still there and only somehow blocked for viewing?

i was thinking the same thing, maybe there is some how to get the channels.

i miss sky sports news.

I have 3 channels Test4,Test5 and Test6 each showing (epg) for each of those channels

test4 = evening update
test5 = news on the hour
test6 = stargate atlantis

all black screens

I think we'll get the channels back eventually. Sky are just waiting 'till the last minute before they have to go to court then they'll strike a deal with Virgin.

Result: Sky get loads of new customers and money from VM.

Just my thought on it, I'm not a Sky CEO! lol

No, Sky completely pulled the feed. The EPG is added by Virgin from a different source. You will also notice differences in program descriptions between Virgin and Sky on sat.
