Running cable

This is more than likely in the wrong place but do any of you know much it costs to run cable from your sky dish to another room

What kind of price we talking to get someone in . Truth is the only thing I'm scared of is heights . So jumping up the ladder might be a no go

I would imagine it would be a good few quid mate " Health n safety" and all that lol. If you have access to ladders and a drill with a long drill bit try and get a relative or friend to help you out. Buy the cable kit from ebay comes cheap and in various lengths with clips and connectors

Hell mate I still owe @buzzer a bottle of Morgan spice . Trying to find time to get up to him is a nightmare, but I will get there lol

what ever you do, don't get Sky to do it. Not sure on their price but simple call outs just to align a dish are £65 upwards

If you don't know what sly charge why do you say not to go to them?
To fit a dish is around £60/£70 depending on cable.
To align a dish that's moved is around £30.
For extra sat feed is around £20/£30 again depending on length of cable.

Got it sorted mate £20. Stop a sky engineer in the area asked him if he fancied a wee homer . Fair play £20 it's for feck all .
