had rudbox on my dreambox today looking at the bouquet editor bug, they weren't aware until i told them. It's a cable only prob. seems like if cables.xml is there it causes the bug.

I was going to do a work around but i'm now running some rudbox beta neutrino which is using the new api stuff. so all neutrino, zapit, sectionsd, timerd, controld, nhttpd and all the libs are new, i will be testing bouquet editor and looking for other bugs.

It's good you are building bridges with the Russians. Do they still hate us? Maybe one day they'll show us their source code.

New api stuff?

Ooh do elaborate.

They said I'd have to replace everything to try the fixed zapit as they are using the new api calls. I noticed sectionsd was by houdini this time.

Replaced most of the lib folder, neutrino, controld, sectionsd, seectionsdcontrol, zapit, pzapit, nhttpd

bouquet editor seems fine now :)

I sent them a netid scanning neutrino diff, but they said the zapit diff was missing, they will add it if we can give em the diffs.

Tried rudbox last year but had same problem left feedback but got no response.

was never able to keep services, nice image though, would be nice to get a working cable one

The history of who is who and who likes/hates who is dead interesting. Shame it can't be in a sticky ! Well done for persevering with a problem that you had never actually seen on your own kit, now thats determination. Much appreciated.

yes its interesting but it also pretty much killed dreambox neutrino images for cable since uk01-05 so lets forget who hates who and help cryo make the best of the situation. i for one am very grateful for the da vodka images he has produced .

m8, let me tidy up the code a bit and I'll forward it to you.

I've been meaning to get that code sorted for a while, nothing major just found a much cleaner way to access scan.conf. It's a bit of a bodge atm.

Cheers.

cool. thx again cydine

beta is very stable, even newcamd works perfectly on all channel changes (would give a black screen half the time before)

channel scan is slower, but hopefully we will get the netid scanning in there.

bouquet editor works fine now (no lost services at reboot)

I can't upload any of this stuff unfortunatley but I'm keeping them on my box for the moment hence no updates past 0.9b untill rudbox release something public.

Now that cydine & cryogenic (The pro's) are working on it, we'll get some where.

After what you done for the Dbox, I have great faith in you guys.
Keep up the good work.
