Rover SDM-2

Hi all I have recently decided to go down the route of playing with some satellite TV, I have managed to get my hands on a rover sdm 2 sat meter but I haven’t got any instructions or even a clue where to start with it and does anyone know where to get the downloads from to upgrade the database ?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated thanks.

u need a rover cable as well have u got that???

just had a read as well no back up with this meter
