Resetting a TM500

Hi,
if i factory reset a TM 500 STB will i overcome all myTelnet Login password issues in DCC e2 & Filezilla
I realise i will be starting from Scratch all over again.
Will the STB be given a new IP Address

It should remove all user data so yes.

It would give it a new ip if it was on a static ip before as default settings would be DHCP.

Thought you had TM800?

PLEAE IGNORE THIS.
You might know this already but jut in case, You can put in your own ip in settings - expert setup then communication setup you will have to untick dhcp to do it.

SORRY I THOUGHT IT WAS A DREAMBOX 500

I did a quick factory reset & was able to create Telnet login password in the menu of the STB

Hi Friend,
I started with a TM500 then upgraded to a TM800HD as most channels were going HD now know the TM800 is not the best out there but it does the job for me tbh.
