Win 10 reset windows 10

hey guys

trying to reset my Windows 10 from the recovery options as I'm selling

half way through the reset a page popped up saying not all files could be deleted and to try again but it won't let me past that page. Tried numerous keys on the keypad and mouse doesn't work.

Any way to fix this?

Windows 10 is quite resilient with regards to "unexpected shut downs".

As such, press and release the power button on the case.

If the computer does not shut down after a few minutes; press and hold the power button until the screen goes into standby/power saving mode.

Reboot in the normal fashion...

If you get stuck at the same screen; reboot again, but try entering the advanced system startup by pressing F11. Alternatively, you should be able to restore from any Windows 10 boot media (including the ISO and USB boot image readily available from the MS website).

ended up doing a fresh install off a usb stick

Shame I was late to help. USB stick with Windows on it could have helped you with the recovery, but a fresh install is generally faster and more reliable.
