can anyone help i have a bricked hitachi drive which i have now got a samsung drive with iextream 1.4 installed can anyone tell me what i need to put this sammy drive into the hitachi motherboard

i have the hitachi original key so i am ok there

I'm not too sure as to what you're actually asking. If you have the key from the bricked Hitachi you can apply this key to the Samsung, spoof it to identify itself as the same model as the bricked Hitachi and you should be fine, to do that you will need Firmware Toolbox. Are you asking how to swap the drives' PCB's? I don't think you can do that between a Samsung and a Hitachi.

I managed to find out and all is working now i was puzzled with iprep as this was the only way i could flash sammy drives

Glad you got it sorted mate, so was it a case of changing the key and spoofing?

yeh i read the drive and then opened up the file in toolbox and then replaced the drive key and then spoofed then copied the file back to usb stick as cfw file and it wrote it to the drive no probs
