Reducing Main Forum Size

We are currently in the process of removing and merging forums together.

The plan is to use the prefix system and join forums.

This will allow the forum to be reduced gradually in size but still offer large support on broad technical issues.

I added a poll for good measure make it more interesting and get an idea of member feeling.

so i take it that all cable questions be it for kv or zgemma will be merged into one section with subsections for each make which is what i see now on a recheck with forum and seems very nice now when looking where to post

There will still need to be sections for certain topics.

But an example would be the Satellite Dreambox Discussion rooms and the Satellite Dreambox Downloads Rooms

Are proposal would be to merge the downloads forums into the discussions forum and have a prefix [DOWNLOAD] for all downloads... so members would be able to distinguish between the two in the one forum... saving space...
