Recovering your Dreambox 800 HD SE

first with out power cable connect that box via usb cable through laptop or pc then install that usb software then you can thy any of the software then you will get your box back as a normal .

I own a 800HD SE with error message r01 no ca found.
Now I have powered off the receiver - hold the flash button and restart. I can logon via the IP address to upload a nfi file.
But I tried lots - none worked.
Can you please help me with my issue, or some else that can help me?

DreamBox-OptiFlasher if you are getting no ca found error.

i had same problem with my dm800 and was fix with DreamBox-OptiFlasher.

This app is continue asking "NO SSL-BIT" installed. When I download this - unzip - put the files with foldername SSL-BT where the program is in it - I still receive this error.

i never had this error msg , not sure may be you are missing some thing.
just unzip/unrar SSL-BIT and then copy optiflasher inside in same SSL-BIT folder and then just follow stepes according to your dreambox.

The steps that I do right now are:
- USB connect device to my laptop
- UTP cable connect from my router into the device
- Power off the dreambox 800SE
- Hold on the miniflash button on the back
- Power on the dreambox

Dreambox is now restarting and I get a IP address on it

- Create a folder and put the app DreamBox-OptiFlasher-Pro-Ultimate-E2-v2.0.0.9 in it
- Download SSL-BT and winzip - add this as folder name SSL-BT into the same map where the app DreamBox-OptiFlasher-Pro-Ultimate-E2-v2.0.0.9 exist

- Also winzip all files from the SSL-BT rar and put this without map into the same map where the app DreamBox-OptiFlasher-Pro-Ultimate-E2-v2.0.0.9 exist

- Then I run the DreamBox-OptiFlasher-Pro-Ultimate-E2-v2.0.0.9

- I enter the IP address in the app that has given on the device display
- Enter the standard login data
- Connect is OK
- I select under Select Model : Auto Detect
- Write IMAGE / Restore Backup
- Click on the button DO JOB>>
- I upload the openPLi4-oe2-800se-sim2-2014-12-03-sam.nfi file

(see the picture for the setup so far)


- Now I get the message DreamBox Flashed Successfully!
- I click on the button Manuel Boot
- Devices boot - same error : R01 - NO CO FOUND

I am pretty sure that I am uploading something wrong or do something else in the settings wrong. But I have no idea what. Also I do not know which file I need to upload (.nfi) to fix this error.

Ok - I finally could select the Repair [NO CA FOUND] option in the Dreambox OptiFlasher.
But I get this error after all is done :

Sending Flash Loader...

Please Wait ! Do not Disconnect Until Done/Reboot !
OptiFlasher Error: Cannot open file "\\vmware-host\Shared Folders\Bureaublad\New Folder\SSL-BT\ssl25.nfi". The system could not found the file.

I have downloaded SSL-BT from 1 - 13. Does someone own SSL-BT from 1-25, please?
Attached you can find my settings.



- First detect your port (COM3)
- Loader selected LD1
- Select Model: DM800-SE
- Select Repair [NO CA FOUND]
- Click on Do Job >>

If you have the mini flashup button your using stuff you dont need to.

With just ethernet connected
Power down at the plug.
Press and hold the mini flashup button in and power on at the plug while still holding the mini flashup button in.
After about 30 seconds holding it in you should see a IP addy come up on front screen.
Use that to flash via browser as normal.

When I hold the Flashbutton while the device is turned off and turn the device on - there will be a IP address displayed on the display. Yes.
When I visit the IP address via a browser and click on the flash button - so far so good.
I select the nfi file openPLi4-oe2-800se-sim2-2014-12-03-sam.nfi and upload it.
After uploading and installing the device reboot automatic (I selected this option).
After reboot of the device I am still getting this error.

Are you sure its a sim2 box you have and not an original?

And does the box have the correct bootloader/SSL flashed?

Agree with wiz569 that image does not have the correct ssl bootloader for your box.

I think I have a cloned yes. How can I check this to be sure?
Also - what do you mean with the correct bootloader/SSL flashed? How can I check this.

When the box boots up,if you look at the LCD display it should say something along the lines of "Sim2" and 82 or 84a/b/c/d

The only thing that I see on the boot display now, is: ER01 NO CA FOUND.
All I can read on the device is a DREAMBOX 800HD SE with WiFi.
The front power button is square instead oval.

I do not see any SIM2 or something else so far. I can remember when I boot the dreambox in internet modus (when the IP shows) before I see something like #82 in a very short time.

Take a look at the sim card in the box and describe it we can then tell you what you have.
