Recording to HDD player

Anyone know if it's possible to record to a HDD player direct from Dbox 2. It's a Nokia Box with Blade Quad on it?
I've searched through the topics but they all seem to relate to recording to PC.

Yes m8, this is eazy peazy. Here's my Scart hook-up:

Dbox2 VCR > DVD Aux In

DVD TV Out > TV AV1

(TV scart on dbox un-used)

You just set the DVD recorder to record from scart, then make sure the dbox is showing the channel you actually want to record. I find the dBox 'Zap To' Timers useful here! Zap To, note- NOT Record!

VM subbed box TV Out > TV AV2

This last one is handy for catching missed stuff via iPlayer etc.

Nope- just make sure that Switch Scart automatically is set to ON in Video Settings, which it usually is by default.

Oh- and I need to correct a typo in my original reply, m8:

Dbox2 VCR > DVD Aux In

Should read: Dbox2 TV scart > DVD Aux In scart (VCR scart on dbox is unused)
