read a card

hi all can any1 tell me how do i read a ntlcard

use nagraedit with a phoinex programmer m8..........

all i get is Opening of COM1 was successful
Reset failed
Error reseting card, ATR string invalid
Closing of COM1 was successful

the card has it m8, it must not have had a blocker on it.......
or
it needs glichting..........

make sure it is the right com port or if not maybe the card has been killed cheers dan
