rar files

attempting fix tomorrow on my 500c, need to know about rar files. do i drag and drop them as they are
or do i have to open them up first ? very new to this so applogies if it seems a foolish question.

rar files are just compressed files m8, same as zip files..u need to extract them first

yep extract it then use dreamup or ftp the image to the temp folder on the box & update that way

Dio a google and DL winrar, its free and incredably useful, and you will def need it if you use new sgruops
