this result just highlights how bad the SPL is in scotland! rangers and celtic look good in a crap league! week in week out turning over teams like gretna 5-0 every week! then when there in europe you can see just how bad they are up against proper competition. between 15th and 10th place at a push would be the finishing places for either of them teams in the english premiership.

Celtic have done ok in europe last couple of seasons getting past the group stage if only they could do as well away from home as they do at home they could may progress abit further.Plus Rangers last year done ok in europe. If Rangers and celtic were in premiership they would be pushing for league maybe not first year but after a couple just with the revenue the clubs would take in plus they would be able to attract better players as they would want to go play in the premiership.

u say 15th 10th place get a grip, rangers n celtic in premiership would be loaded and new players would come worth millions, tv money is what premiership is about without sky it wouldnt be any better than spain,italy,germany,france
rangers and celtic get 50/60k fans at gretna games most teams in england cant even fill a 30,000 seater
u cant judge rangers/celtic in premiership while there in scotland coz they work on tight budgets , in premiership budget would be sky high
