iPhone quick help!?

attempting first jail break and am stuck straight away lol. downloaded the ios 4.0 restore file but its came as a zip and when i open it i get folders and files and no .ipsw? any ideas?

can i just upgrade from 3.1.3 to 4.0 then use redsn0w?

sometimes when you download the firmware...it has the wrong extension on it, something to do with the browser you use.

Just change the extension from .zip to .ipsw
