Nintendo have promised to increase the boot time speed from the moment you turn on the Wii U to game play 
It currently takes around a minute to a minute and a half, this has been reduced to around 15 seconds
This Video was grabbed by Nintendaan and posted for the world to see
The menu appears pretty much instantly and goes into a slightly different menu to what we are used to, you dont select your Mii profile first of all like we do now instead you select this when opening a game or app
