Question on EV2 and Max!

hi i got a EV2 but lost remote looked every were cant find 1

but i remember reading somewere that u can get the max software to work o a EV2 but u need a max remote

the reason i ask is because i seen max remotes on ebay .etc

so has anyone tried it and does it au ok and is there any probs or am i good to go??

Can you not use one of those 4-in-1 remotes and teach it to work?

l know the firmware does change but is the ev2 and max remote compatible ? , l dont know , but l do know the max with ev2 on it, the ev2 remote does work

and thaught u have to enter a code or somthing in it to get it to work
