Quake 3 Arena

I'm addicted to quake 3 arena on the net.I only have a 56k connection so have to go on at night to get anything like decent pings.The only problem is i'm a binman and i usually play up until 3 and 4 in a morning,but i have to get up at 5.45 for work.I'm always knackered.Can anybody reccomend any decent gaming modems that might help bring my ping down.Cheers all TTFN Carl.

its not ur modem m8 im using 56k as well its just slow, what u need is a broadband connection such as cable so u would have to ring them and see if they cover ur area, the cost is £25 a month i think.
