Got pulled for not wearing a seatbelt today,
I told them i was wearing one which i was and it was 10pm at night,
i dont think they believed me anyway,
he wrote down my details but didnt give me any fine or bill.
He said he still didnt believe that i was wearing a seatbelt and i was given my id back and drove off.
he was writing my details on a piece of paper he had so im abit worried.
Should i expect any fine in the post cos i thought they give you a fine on the spot?

doubt it im sure he would have issued you the ticket there and then.

No m8 nothing will happen. If it was too he would have had to have cautioned you there and then.
He is playing mind games with the paper so he doesnt look a tit cos he cant prove your belt was not on. Relax m8 and yes Clunk-click every trip

when i was younger i was sitting on the dashboard and my granda got pulled over and fined cause i wasn't wearing a belt lol how stupid was i sitting on the dashboard i was about 8 or 9

How daft was your granda for letting you

it was only for 2 miles from his bit to my bit

he was constantly telling me to sit on the seat but i wouldnt listen and only sat on the seat when the polis stopped us

when i seen the flashing light behind us i sat down and put my belt on lol

now everytime i'm in the car with him he asks if i've got my belt on lol cause he dont wanna pay a fine and neither do i cause both of us are as tight as a ducks arse!

Cheers

I did'nt know cars had seat belts in 1927 (lol)

i passed a polis car going the other way they turned around to come after me but by that time i had stopped and got out of my car and nearly in my mates garden when they shouted me said i wasnt wearing a seat belt i argued i was and said i always wear one ( i wasnt) they said as there was two of them seen me they were giving me a ticket and i could argue my case in court i just paid up the fine and never went to court

brother in law just been done for in m8 its on the spot, my wife got done £75 few months back for dropping fag end out of car window while driving was spotted by a warden, that came through post .

In the 70's when I was a toddler my dad used to let me sit on his knee and drive the car :)

Oh the humanity.

I used to everywhere with my head out of the sunroof in my Dads Capri

I was similar. I used to sit next to my dad on my mums knee with a toy steering wheel stuck to the dash. My older sister was always stuck in the back.

I loved my Ford Anglia :)

Was???

I still do that!

Do get some funny looks mind!

and that was a stolen car witchy lol

i got stopped last week and was using the wifes car so no pesky alarm if u dont wear belt.unlike mine.
a wee boy about 18 jumped out the polis car and said i didnt have it on
i told him a had .
he said to me he has a witness (other cop in car)
so i told him so have i (wife in car)
so there was fook all he could do.but they followed me for 15mins after that
and trying to stick to 30 was murder.
my own fault as we should all use seat belts.

Aye, the only reason I was there was because he was so blind drunk that my mum sent me to the pub to guide him home ;)

You only added that incase the FPB (Forum Police Brigade) jumped on your case, the FPB are a crack team of eejits who troll for threads jsut so they can type "that's a disgrace" or "you should be ashamed of yourself".
