Hi all, guy at work has asked me to downgrade a PSP Phat and a PSP Slim for his m8's, I made a pandoras battery using my own PSP Phat and have downgraded the PSP Phat to 1.50 with no problems at all. I have tried to do the PSP Slim with the same battery and mem card but all it does when i put the battery in is sit on a black screen and then turns off after quite a while.

Is this the correct way to do a slim on 3.90?

Also am i right in thinking there is an easier way than the original pandoras battery? i.e. taking it down to 1.50 then manually upgrading to M33 releases? If there is do they allow you to turn the battery back to an original battery as I am using my own battery at the moment as the pandoras and will need to change it back (i know you can wth the current setup i have tried)

All the best

you have bricked the slim PSP mate.

you cannot downgrade a slim PSP down to 1.50
it will not run on the 1.50 kernel

you need to install custom firmware directly using pandora programs like this: https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?threads/183523/

or disinter: >Disinter 3.80<

you will need to remake the memory stick using the program of your choice (disinter maybe easier for beginners) using your FAT PSP.

What software are you using m8. You can use Disenter which will do what you are after or psp grader wll also do it. I have only ever used disenter and its really easy. You can easily return your battery to normal after using it as a pandora. I think Disenter will take it to 3.8 and you can then upgrade to 4.01 if you wish. I think Grader will take it straight to 4.01 but not 100% sure. Bro and the stoogies will know for sure.

Check out the thread below by johnthehun for disenter

Edit...told you stoogies where about....larry to the rescue...lol

u will have to use disinter 3.80 on ur fat custom psp http://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?threads/161247/

or if ur up to it use the one kryton linked.straight to 4.01m33

if it aint bricked its because it didnt try to run.
