PS2 Slimline & DVD

I have got a slimline PS2 DVD where when i try to watch foriegn movies the colour comes in black and white on the screen but the normal DVDs come in colour. These foriegn DVDs works perfectly on a normal DVD player. Could anyone help me out on how i could solve this problem

its because there prop ntsc not pal .
