I'm having problems with playing the games i just tried burning. First attemp so its definatley something i'm doing.

I have a feeling its the files i'm putting onto DVD. I got them using btorrent and unzipped them to my harddrive, I then used nero to burn them has a data disc, it this correct?

The first had files with an .IRX extension and the second game .BIG files?

Any help would be appreciated.

.IRX Extension ? are you sure mate iv never come across that before, anyway dont use nero use a program called DVD decryter as it is much easier also what problems are you having when playing the game ? does it start ok? is it slow? which chip are you using to play them with

If u trying 2 burn a game into a disk, then u are looking for an .MDS file extension, or .ISO.

U DO NOT copy the file extension in as DATA, but as an image (ISO).

U can either use DVD DYCRYPTOR or ALCAHOL%120.

If using Dycryptor, then 1st go to Into MODE/ISO- ten tick WRITE.

Select from yr PC the image u want to burn.

If using Alcahol120 then just simply choose option Image Burning Wizard.

Use NERO for burning M* - it's the best by far.
...and only burn yer PS2 stuff at X2 - preferable to RITEK media.
