ps 2 slimline how to link a usb hard drive

hi can anyone help me

i have a slimline ps2

one maxtor 80 gb hard drive

one usb hard drive caddie

swap magic discs

keys have been fitted



how do i use this hard drive with my ps 2
and how do i get the games on to the hard drive

what software do i need and how do i get it all put together
