problem with pace D1400 1N

HI Igot a pace D1400 wich when switched on it flashes all chanel numbers the says pace then PDLD then starts flashing the numbers again. Has anyone got any ideas thanks

That's normal, it's taking an update, let it run its course.

thanks for that , I left it for hours to run now it says :- "Err1"
has anyone any ideas?

Err1 indicates its either a network issue or the box is knackered.
