I jailbroke my 3GS using Spirit. I was on 3.1.3 and had no problems jailbraking and installing Installous, apps etc. However, despite having a full 5 bar 3G signal I sometimes can't connect to the internet or use apps that download data. This tends to happen after I've been out of signal or using wifi. I sometimes have to wait several hours before it works again or I have to switch off 3G and use Edge to access Sky News etc.
Anyone know what the problem could be?
