Chip on the ink cart or the actual printer? What exactly are you trying to do? I can probably find out at work tomorrow as I work for a printer co but haven't heard of this b4...

Had a little search round for you mate and found this.
Turn printer off then hold these buttons
Hold down these buttons the stop button / black and white button/ color button and the power button/ the lcd screen should flash at you 3 time when it stops press the color button again and the turn the printer off again.
Also heres the Epson counter rest app as well, this did work on my sons old c62 and is a cracking little program but please try it at your own risk.Theres also a link i think inside the zip file to where it originally come from that might help you out if you get stuck.
