printer problems

hi,

I have the following printer Epson Stylus photo r245. I have set this printer up numerous times in the past on different pc's but I am now having problems installing it. When i try to set up I am getting the following error" Windows could not load installer for printer" I have tried the latest drivers but still get the same error. I even get this message If i manually try to add in a printer.

Could you post a little more information; for example the version operating system you are trying to install the printer on, at what point do you get the error, is the printer connected via USB...

printer is connected through usb running windows sp2. As soon as I try to run install disc I am getting the error.

The epson service utility might help you if its a problem with the printer.

Are U Leaving Your Printer Off Until It Askes For The Driver , Or Do U Need To Update The Installer As Epson Printer Are Usually Easy , If Ur Still Having The Problem Delete Everthing Out Of Ur Registry, Try A Different Usb Lead Also ,
