Prep before i lay turf

Gent's,

I will be laying turf in 2 weeks but i just want some advice on what i should do with the area prior to laying.

Current area have some weeds and skitery bits of grass.

I am putting down top soil before the turf goes down also.

You need to use weed killer on that area first. Wait a week turn it over doily some sharp sand then lay it . It's a doddle make sure your edges are nice and tight but no over lap

Should be two Ts..."skittery"

In the context of the post, I'd take it to mean random and patchy.
