Some times I find my AdBlock filter has gone, usually when FireFox crashes. Might be worth checking you still have a filter installed.

Always worth running a scan for malware in these situations.

Try with uBlock Origin - it's lighter than Adblock/ AdblockPlus and have more options to customize filters per site. Also consider Ghostery as second addon to get rid of tracking cookies and all this crap that want to identify all of us
