Hi all i have a problem i need some help with if poss
i have a medion pocket pc Md95025 and i used to use it as a sat nav
but the problem is i have lost the memory card out of it that used to have the sat nav files on it
so what are my options to get this working as a sat nav again?
thanks for any info.

suppose you'll have to get onto the torrents / newsgroups and grab a copy of tomtom for pocket pc or something.

get yourself another memory card and look for tomtom
if you strugllin to get hold of tomtom let me know and il up one somewhere

cheers bud but tomtom looks a bit over my head to install i think
i have another mem card but its only 256 so thinking about trying to install Medion navigator but i cant find it
thanks

Shouldnt be too much trouble its cracking the maps that might be a bit annoying but I'm sure whatever you dl would have a tut. Thinking about it a 256 card might be too small?

have a look here NaviTotal.com

forum is excelent ive just upgraded my navman to 21st centry (igo8 software and 2010 q3 maps) and a friends garmin (2011 maps) all the info software and maps are there with bags of help.

there is a satnav section on DW in the phone section but from memory its all about tomtom so prob not much help to you.

what software was it running ?

igo8 software is very good as standard but if you wish it can be endlessly configaurable skinable etc etc.

how come you cant get the origanal navigation files for this pda
ive searched all the net and cant find anything must be medion crap

original satnavs on medion, binatone etc etc are all cr*p in my view but i would
say that cos ive been used to tomtom for a few years

but no doubt you will be able to get original satnavs,i came across original one for mine(binatone) and i only found it by accident

but when i select tomtom or igo it is requesting the exe files so was wondering where to get them and where to install them or how??

either the same places where ive sent you links or the link in this thread
what witchy has put up,remember to format the memory card to fat32
and follow the instructions to instal the tomtom

here you go phil follow this tut and the files are from post 4,5,6 and 11,12,13

>download the files from witchys post (https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?threads/212697/)
>unzip to your harddrive
>copy all files of your sd to a safe location
>make sure no files on your sd
>Copy the mobilenavigator and the United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_v830.2307 folder to your sd from the file you unzipped
>put sd in your rac - turn it on
>when you get the error click voucher
>this will put you into win ce
>turn sat nav off
>sd back in computer should be a file called tt_navigator.bif
>open this in notepad, note the DeviceUniqueID
>go into the maps folder on the sd copy the meta & pna file
>place it in keygen8/dct_file location in the files from witchy
>right click on the open_me.cmd file then select edit from the dropdown menu. Find this line 'SET /P p=Voer je Devicecode hier in zonder spaties. Voorbeeld AADH28JB92:' replace AADH28JB92 with your own 10 digit Unique ID, and save
>now double click open_me, it should say ok (if not ensure you've used capitals)
>go into the dct_file and copy the newly visible dct file onto your sd card in the same location as the meta and pna file
>put sd back in your rac
>touch screen the screen, select change preferences, goto screen6 select gps status
>select configure, other nmea, baud 19200,com7

and thats it - easy huh!!
